Most schools prepare children for exams.

We prepare them for life and for the real challenges of building, creating, and leading in a changing world.

When we ask children what they would like to solve, we often expect a job title.

But the next generation will need to do more than fill positions; they’ll need to create opportunities, solve problems, and build meaningful lives.

That’s why we’re building NovaQuest Academy, an online school for children aged 6 to 17 that teaches core academics through the lens of entrepreneurship.

From Rhema E-School to NovaQuest

After founding Rhema E-School in Latin America, I witnessed how children thrived when learning became personal, project-based, and connected to real life.

We saw students who once struggled in traditional settings build confidence, launch small businesses, and rediscover their love of learning.

NovaQuest is the next chapter of that story, designed for the UK, powered by technology, and grounded in entrepreneurial thinking.

The StartUP Framework

At the heart of NovaQuest lies the STARTUP Framework, seven pillars that translate real-world entrepreneurship into age-appropriate, project-based learning:

Explanation and leading question of the STARTUP framework.

Each pillar connects traditional academics to life.

  • Maths becomes the language of budgeting.
  • English becomes storytelling in marketing.
  • Science becomes research and experimentation.

In this way, students don’t just learn; they launch.

They test ideas, design products, create brands, and even pitch them to mentors and real audiences.

The result isn’t just knowledge; it’s confidence, creativity, and purpose.

Learning Without Walls

NovaQuest Academy is built on flexibility, not chaos.

First, students attend live online classes led by expert educators and join collaborative clubs focused on entrepreneurship, technology, and the arts.

Twice a year, they present their projects at the Leo Quest Fair, where parents, mentors, and peers celebrate their progress.

Second, they learn in small teams, guided by teachers and mentors who act more like coaches than lecturers.

Finally, they learn how to question, adapt, and think for themselves.

We call it “learning without walls”.

Because education shouldn’t stop where the classroom ends.

Why Entrepreneurship Matters Early

Entrepreneurship isn’t just about business; it’s about mindset.

It teaches courage, persistence, adaptability, and creativity.

Children who grow up learning how to test ideas, manage finances, and collaborate with others don’t just become entrepreneurs; they become problem solvers, innovators, and leaders.

Research consistently shows that early exposure to entrepreneurship improves decision-making, emotional intelligence, and resilience.

It also makes academic subjects more meaningful because students understand the purpose behind their learning.

NovaQuest’s goal is simple: help children think like creators, not consumers.

The Mission Behind this blog (StartUP Minds)

StartUP Minds is the storytelling branch of that mission, a place where we explore how education can evolve to meet the world our children are growing into.

Here, we will share:

  • Insights on the future of learning and work.
  • The psychology behind motivation, autonomy, and purpose.
  • Practical advice for parents raising creative, self-directed children.
  • Research and case studies on entrepreneurship education.
  • Updates as we build and launch NovaQuest Academy in 2026.

Think of it as a lab notebook for reimagining education, a space for the curious, the forward-thinking, and the brave.

The Journey Ahead

NovaQuest Academy will open its virtual doors in September 2026.

Our Founding Families Cohort will co-create the first wave of this new learning experience, shaping curriculum, mentoring practices, and community culture.

We’re inviting families, educators, and innovators to be part of the story from the start.

Because the future won’t be built by rule-followers, it will be built by StartUP Minds.

Join us at NovaQuest.uk and register your interest to follow our journey, discover new ideas, and watch as we design the next generation of learning – one project, one child, and one breakthrough at a time.
