Our Story So Far
NovaQuest Academy started as a personal search for a better way to educate children who didn’t quite fit the traditional system.
Diana Pineda’s journey began when she chose to homeschool her own children, frustrated by a model that often rewarded conformity over curiosity.
What started as a homegrown curriculum gradually evolved into something much bigger: Rhema School, an online alternative education community that went on to serve more than 500 students across 15 countries over several years.
The school proved that learning could be rigorous, flexible, and deeply human at the same time—especially for creative, entrepreneurial, and neurodivergent learners who needed a different rhythm and approach.
“Building Rhema wasn’t just about teaching subjects; it was about rethinking education itself,” Diana says.
Diana saw firsthand how students could thrive when learning connected to real life, purpose, and agency, including children who had previously struggled in conventional environments.
In 2024, she moved to the UK with a new vision shaped by those lessons, her MBA research into parental adoption of entrepreneurship-focused education, and years of practical experience running an online school.
NovaQuest Academy is the next chapter in that journey: a mentor-led, project-based learning environment designed for the realities of today’s world—where creativity, problem-solving, and initiative matter as much as academic knowledge.
It’s not a reinvention from scratch, but an evolution built on hundreds of families, countless experiments, and a clear belief that education can prepare children not just for exams, but for life.
